Ambar Johnson is an interdisciplinary creative composer who works, learns, and serves at the intersection of her favorite things - transportation.

Ambar’s work as a transportation planner is fueled by per belief and practice that transportation is more than its utility. She has yielded three adopted plans, expanded and improved transportation systems, conducted multiple analyses for numerous transit feasibility studies, and led coalition building across the East Coast.

She is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology where she received a B.S. in History, Technology & Society. Her work has been featured in Allure, Boston Magazine, Cyclista Zine, and more.

As a transportation planner, bicycle instructor, culture bearer, writer, and speaker, Ambar is a trusted advisor, analyst, and wayfinder delicately dissecting something that impacts us all - how we get around.
